The land, with its 6080 m2 it’s officially a Quinta, a farm, and is located on walking distance of a quaint little village at the foothills of the natural parks of the South-West Algarve.

The land is cleared and cleaned and it is now suitable for keeping any type of animals or organic agriculture project, and for the living of course. The 2 greenhouse structures are on the land for more than 15 years and they are therefore legalized.

It has a reconstructed greenhouse on it, consisting of 120m2 living space with 3 bedrooms, of which two are rented out through Airbnb. The estimated income is €2000 a month.

It has a storage room inside, a living room and the inside kitchen is being worked on at the moment of writing.

The main greenhouse has 2 terraces of 50m2 which are partially covered. The three 10m2 bedrooms have wooden floors and walls and a tent fabric roof. The rooms are 3 meters high.

The greenhouse structures are made of galvanized steel and will last forever. They are placed on this land a long time ago and have legal status.

The south and north-facing rooms have sliding single glass doors. All rooms have electricity. There is a small vegetable garden which delivers quite some vegetables.

There is 11.000-liter water storage. Water at the moment is delivered for a very good price per liter. Very fast, 1-day delivery, good quality water.Water análisis upan request. The is a 220-volt water pump attached to give the right pressure for the hot water boiler.

The land is divided into 3 parts;

the north part, where we host campervans and guests, has an outdoor shower and a toilet. It’s a pretty green area with lots of fruit trees and bushes.
The middle part is where the greenhouses are located and where we live ourselves. The greenhouses are surrounded by a horse paddock and strolling area. Mainly sandy ground. This part is fully fenced
The South part hosts the water storage and has great views. It has its own access through a gravel road.

Next to the greenhouse, there is a Fiat Ducato campervan of 6-meter length, which has been home to many, with a 24m2 open kitchen attached to it. The van has no papers but still drives if needed.

The kitchen, on a pallet floor, has a double sink with hot and cold water, a fridge, a gas cooker, a dining table for 8 people, and lots of storage space.

The front outdoor living, in the shade of the overhanging Corktrees, space has 3 couches and a nice view of the Monchique mountain. The back living space has 3 couches as well and is also protected from the sun by overhanging Cork trees.

There is an open horse stable of 120m2 and a chicken pen of 120m2 with 6 chickens and 2 ducks attached to it. Good for 4 eggs a day.

At the moment we have 220 electricity from the neighbors but power lines are in the front and back of the land and it would be easy to apply for an access point.

There is a water river under the land according to the military map and the local dowser, so if you want to have unlimited water, it would be possible.

The area: Located on an 8-minute walk to the quaint village of Barao de Sao Joao, ate the foothills of the Natural forest, that goes all the way to the west coast. If you like nature, this is something for you.

The neighboring lands are mostly sold to foreigners, who all start their own paradise living in nature, while still being close to a village that has all that you could need; 2 mini supermarkets, a once-a-week organic market, 5 diverse restaurants, a post office and a library.

There is a cultural center as well and an official trail bike rental that offers many tracks through the wild nature of the area.

The South-West of the Algarve, or Barlevento as it is called as well, has a trove of beautiful beaches and scenery that you will find nowhere else. And it has a reason that the Algarve is called the California of Europe.
